Co-Host Otto Bock's C-Leg® RoadShow

Sampson's recently hosted Otto Bock's C-Leg® RoadShow, held at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital on June 18. The RoadShow was designed to educate amputees, physicians, and therapists on the C-Leg, the world's first computerized prosthetic leg. Bill Sampson, CP, and president of Sampson's, was one of the first practitioners in the United States to become certified to fit the C-Leg when it first became available. Sampson's fittings preceded his speaking engagement regarding the C-Leg at the Amputee Coalition of America's National Conference in Atlanta, June 20.

Area above-knee amputees also had the opportunity to experience the use of the Helix3D 7E10 hip joint, which gives users more natural gait patterns and increased freedom of movement to accomplish activities of daily living, such as putting on shoes or getting into a car.
